Tribute to Modigliani in Livorno
The New Fortress is colored by video projections
From December 20th to February 16th on a wall of the ancient bastion a journey through architecture, history and art with the works of Modigliani and images of the city.
They bear the signature of Paolo Buroni , an artist of photography and a ‘magician’ of multi-visions and of the most innovative architectural projection technologies, the video images that will be projected in loops on a wall of the New Fortress starting from Friday 20 December.
At 18.30 “will light up” on the ancient bastion images of Livorno alternated with the masterpieces of Amedeo Modigliani and other artists of the Ecole de Paris on display at the Museum of the City. It will be as if the Fortress became a great “fresco” of the beauties of the city and a due tribute to the artistic genius of the great Modigliani whose centenary of death is celebrated.
