AN IMMERSIVE, MULTIVISION VIDEO INSTALLATION ON ASSISI AND ITS ART, A JOURNEY INTO THE WORLD OF IMAGES AND EMOTIONS
A new artistic language for an emotional event involving the town of Assisi. Created by visual designers Alex & Paolo Buroni , for the first time it combines three-dimensional video mapping with a huge, immersive multivision installation covering more than 5000 square metres in the old centre of Assisi.
The designers, who have opened out new linguistic channels in architectural mutivision with a highly personal style, unique on the international scene, raise the bar by achieving a new artistic step forward, attempting to merge art, technology and spectacle in a new emotional language, midway between film, photography and special effects. A specially produced sound track is synchronised with more than 40 projection systems, for a record-breaking work which will fresco Assisi’s priceless architectural surfaces and its amazing Roman Temple of Minerva every evening for the next month.
Official inauguration with local authorities: 5 pm on 8 december
This multivision experience was made possible by the innovative Stark projection system, comprising more than 40 Stark1200 high-luminosity professional projection systems, together with state-of-the-art three-dimensional projection technologies.
