Macerata Sferisterio Beniamino Gigli

Concert in honor of the great tenor from Recanati, Beniamino Gigli.

The artistic director of the Macerata Opera Festival, Francesco Micheli, guided the audience through the most important moments of the great tenor’s artistic career with the aid of spectacular and rare period images projected on the wall of the Arena while recordings of Gigli’s unmistakable voice alternated with the live voices of the Macerata Opera Festival singers.
