A scenographic MULTIVISION for the soul of the Golden Temple, Amritsar – India

After the Beijing Olympics, the San Siro stadium, the ENZO Ferrari Museum, the Cinecittà di Fellini, the CCTV Tower in Beijing, another prestigious international first for the visual designers Alex and Paolo Buroni.

A grandiose permanent scenographic multivision project that enhances the gold of the Golden Temple and makes this extraordinary monument, which is one of the seven wonders of the world, even more magical.

“For us it was a great honor and a great responsibility” to illuminate the most important monument in India and a sacred religious symbol for millions and millions of Sikh faithful. Our concept was to enhance the matter and essence of the Golden Temple respecting every architectural detail but above all the soul and the extraordinary mystical atmosphere that surrounds this place that at first sight leaves you speechless by transmitting an emotion that stops you. the breath.

“Paolo Buroni”: As always I have tried to hide technologies that are absolutely invisible. We have paid the utmost attention not to leave any trace of our intervention other than the artistic effect on the temple structures due to the extreme respect that we have and that this sacred place deserves.

From a technical point of view, it was another great challenge for the Stark projection systems positioned over 250 meters from the temple beyond the sacred lake that surrounds it. In addition to a series of specially customized Stark projectors, Stark has created an optical system completely dedicated to this monument.
